My Best Memory During Lockdown By: Ivan

What was your best memory during lockdown? This is my best memory during lockdown. So my best memory during lockdown was in easter during lockdown i am about to tell you all about it. Enjoy.


First we boiled lots of eggs and then prepared the table for painting and the jars that have the food coloring.After the eggs had boiled we then took them and put them in the cartons for painting. We then take them and diped them in the jars. after a little while we took them out mom took a red egg and painted our cheeks and made a cross on our forheads. The colors of the eggs  were red, blue, green and yellow.


After painting normal eggs we then started painting rainbow eggs it was harder than just diping them. We had to make cotton beds the we took some spoons and started scooping a little bit of food couloring from the jars and painted the cotton beds and put the eggs on them and wraped them up and waited we then reused the cotten beds and made lots of rainbow eggs.


After all of that we started the celebration we talked bashed our eggs together and ate it was really fun i wish i could relive it but i cant.

Lockdown Daily Routine By: Ivan

Hi my name is Ivan and this is a picture of me and my adopted greyhound Sonic (We didint name him it is his racing name!) in this post I will be telling you how lockdown efected my daily routine and
habits

After the anouncment of lockdown I had to start waking up more early to walk Sonic. (My dog.) The  reason of me waking up so early is because Sonic dosent bark (Because he cant like litirelly!) he yelps.


He yelps when he is scared and also because my mom tought him how to go up and sleep on the beds. So now he has a habit of going up and sleeping on the beds. Now he usually gets stuck in my room and then yelps as hard as he can.

Another thing that changed is I cant do all my outside activities like run to buy stuff from the dairy,(I have to wait in a line!) i cant go to the grocery store with my mom because of covid-19 and because the cops will stop us.

These are the reasons why i changed my daily routine.

FACTS ABOUT SONIC!

1.Did you know that Sonic won 500k from racing?
2. We are sonics second adoptive family.
3. Did you know that Sonic came first 11 times, he came second 9 times and he had 77 great start
4. sonic is a hunting dog so he sleeps with his eyes open its really hard to tell if he is sleeping or awake.
These are all the facts i know about Sonc Enjoy.

My Opinion on the Fashion in the 1970s By: Ivan

Hello evreyone. Have you ever seen the fashion in the 1970s? Im talking about skirts and bell bottom pants and it was all really weird. Well today im going to tell two things I like and dont like about the fashion in the 1970s.


1. the first thing i like about the fashion is that the bell bottom pants actually look good and cozy like as if thier made of fur. As for the skirts thier pretty normal so I dont now anything to say about the skirts that I like because I am not a girl.

2. The second thing I like about the fashion in the 1970s is that the coulors are really nice like black for boys yellow or green for girls. I just like those colors.

1. Okay now its time for my opinion on what I dislike abot the fashion. Well lets start off the patterns they were either crazy or just plain.

2. thing I dont like about it is nothing. Yes its nothing the first one is the only thing I dislike  about them and now I just cant think of anything!!

The Dawn of Televison By: Ivan

Did you in the 1960s there was a great deal of change in New Zealand. Tecnology was evolving at a really fast pace and once the TV was introduced to New Zealand in the 1960s and then televison programs poped up and then the Televison became really popular. Then a coulored TV was added to the arsenal of electronics it was created in February 1970.


I am here to describe what my favourite Tv program is and it is drum roll please Beyblade Burst. I really liked watching the adventures of Volt and his friends. Beyblade Burst is all about Volt in his quest to become the best of the best.


Through this quest Volt makes really good friends and dangerous enemies but with the suport of his friends that also battle him. Volt has to go train really hard and he does exactly that and then when it is time for battle of who will become the grand champion.


Volt by that time has a really strong bond with his beyblade but loses on the fight against one of his friends which is Shoe Kuranai. Shoe is really strong and popular even though he looks so depressed walking around with that froun.

Shoe is really dead sereouse unlike Volt that is really goofy.

In The Past By: Ivan

Did you know that before electronics were even created kids actually worked and played they would run off and then only come back home either to go to the loo, to eat, to work, to help or to sleep? Yes those were only some of the reasons kids would come home there is definitly a lot more reasons than those I just listed right now. Have you ever imagined what the days would be like? well I have so here is how I would picture my days in the past .


well the first thing I would do is wake up you know the usual time and then probably make breakfast and tea while my parents are sleeping. Then when they wake up I will greet them and then let them stuff themselves parents need to chill out too you know. After that I would get ready for school and  say goodbye then head to school.


At school I will  hang my bag on the hook then go to class and try not to get in trouble because back in the past the punishments in class for being naughty would not be time outs or those things you would get wacked.(Fact about school: did you know that before class starts the kids will have to bow down to the teachers.)         


After school I would go home do the chores then go outside and play for hours the only reasons I would come back are for eating, using the loo and doing more chores and helping the family.

After all of that I will go inside say good night and go to sleep. Then the days will reapeat with new adventures and new friends.

From Leaves To Art By: Ivan

This is my Tui I made from leaves that came from my back yard. I tried to make it look like a real tui but these are the results. Here are some facts about tuis.


Fact 1. Tuis eat insects and nectar. But thier favourite nectar is the New Zealand flax thats nectar somtimes ferments and causes the tuis to become drunk. you can see if a tui is drunk just by looking at how it flies.


Fact 2. Why do tuis sing well they sing because they belong to the order of singing passerines. Passerines are able to create more complex songs than other birds because they have more muscular control over the membrains that protrude from walls of their syrnix. (Note fact two is sort of copied from google.)

Last fact. What does the Tui symbolise. Because of their personality the tui are associated with life fulfilment, confidence and spiritual harmony. In Maori culture the tui has powerful significance. The act as messengers to the gods in the heavens.

Hi this is what I did as a task that I saw in maths. As you can see I folded the paper, wrote my name, cut around my name, open the paper and lastly I drew My alien.

My Ideas if I was in a Familly of Ten Kids and Two Adaults

If I was in a familly that big in the 1800s then my life would be really hard these are some reasons why I would not like to be in a familly of ten especially at that time.

The first reason I would not like it is because the sharing and friendship will be really small there will always be fights, time outs, shouting and  crying so it is going to be really hard.

The second reason I would not like it is because there might not be enough food and rooms dont forget space maybe we would somtimes hane to sleep on the floor or go out camping and it will not be fun because it is dangerous.

The third reason I would not like it is because we would have to work like crazy so we can help our parents chill out and not be so stressed because they have jobs too and jobs are really stressful.

These are the reasons I feel lucky not being in a familly with ten kids.

These ar some figures i made from dough and sticks. My sister and my mom helped me make the 3D shapes. I made the dough out of water, flour and i used salt to make the dough harder.

The cube has 6 faces, 12 edges, 8 corners and the number of lines of symmetry is 0.

The triangle has 4 faces, 6 edges, 4 corners and the number of the lines of symetry is 0.

The lines of symmetry are 0 because these are 3D shapes not 2D.
