Umu experience


Yesterday we had an Umu which was very exciting. We are going to tell you all about it.


Our principal Mr Herlihy was crowned chief of the school.


(Which he sort of already was.)


After the crowning the teachers had to drink from a coconut that was used as a cup for the juice. While the teachers said what they wanted to say which was just some thank yous and all.


While the teachers were doing that the guests were preparing the Umu and were cooking the pig in the umu. When the talking was finished we ate the food which was delicious.


Some of us didn't want to eat so Mr Raj let us go in class and have free time.

Fun With Dogeball By: Ivan

Hello everyone this is a picture of a dodgeball that me and my class used to play Jedi dogeball. A varient of dogeball where each team chooses a Jedi and if the other team hit the Jedi when he/she is out of the safe circle then they win infact that it the aim of the game


 The Jedi is sortove like a Medic in real life but you have to just touch a player that has been hit and then that player is up. You dont win if you take out all the players you win if you take out the Jedi.

We had tons of fun playing Jedi dogeball but unfortunatly the bell rang and that was the end of the game. Im hoping we can play again.

Make Your Own Slime By: Ivan

Ingredients

Borax

PVA Glue 

Hot Water 

Food coloring(If wanted) 

Spoon                                            

Method

1 First you put Pva glue in a bowl

2 Then you put in the borax in the water then mix until they dissolve 

3 After that you add the dissolved Borax with the PVA Glue.(Add food colouring if you want if you want)

4. Then you mix them both together with a spoon and keep on doing that.

5. If you think you are missing anything put a little bit of it and stir it with a spoon.

6. Enjoy your slime.
